Dr. Richard Rodriguez was invited to to speak at St. John’s University for Black History Month. In his presentation, titled ‘Is God racist?’ he argues passionately that the Scriptures have never supported the institution of slavery as practiced in American society, though people have erred in using the Scriptures to uphold it.
He shows how the Scriptures demonstrate that God has revealed Himself to be a God who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness for all humanity.
