I believe in God so I came here to get help for my friend who needs donations to not be homeless this upcoming holiday season

The New York City Church of Christ

... See MoreSee Less

The HOPEworldwide International Day of Giving is November 10. The 2019 NYCCOC goal is to give $52 per member of which the church has already given $120,000 through your generous giving to our weekly poor contribution. In order to reach the balance of our goal, the total contribution for the poor collected today will be for HOPEworldwide. If each member gives at least $10, we can reach our goal. Checks should be payable to NYCCOC. If a business is donating, their checks may be payable to HOPEworldwide. ... See MoreSee Less

Meet Our Elders

The role of an Elder (a.k.a. Shepherd, Bishop, or Pastor) is an Overseer of God's people (Acts 20:28). The expectations are high (Titus 1:6-9 and 1 Timothy 3:1-7) and the NYC Church of Christ currently has six men in this position. Larry Craig became a Christian in Colorado and lives in New Jersey with his wife, Mary Lou, of 47 years. He works in the full-time ministry and they have three children and nine grandchildren. Al Baker became a Christian in California and lives in Manhattan with his wife, Glenda, of 30 years. He is a Director of M&A in Corporate Finance and they have one son. Lewis Livingstone became a Christian in Florida and lives in New Jersey with his wife, Tosan, of 10 years. He is a Project Manager and they have four children and three grandchildren. Kevin Finnerty became a Christian in New York City and lives in the Bronx with his wife, Andee, of almost 30 years. He is a physics teacher and they have two daughters. Mark Sanders became a Christian in Rhode Island and lives in Rockland County with his wife, Fiona, of almost 30 years. He is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and they have two sons. Cedric Bao-as became a Christian in New York City and lives in Queens with his wife, Faith Mae, of almost 30 years. He is a registered nurse and they have one son.
